Description

This procedure concerns the granting of a permit to establish a retail shop with the exception of supermarkets.

Conditions

Spatial and urban planning and the effects on the environment and, in particular, the harmonization of the volume and type of the unit with the natural and cultural environment of the area, the existence of a road network and other infrastructure projects and the burden of the environment due to the traffic generated.

The interested party shall be the legal possessor of the shop.

Shops shall have the necessary space for parking the vehicles of the customers and for unloading the goods, according to the relevant provisions.

If required, the prerequisite for the threshold of the total area for the commercial store must be met, in accordance with the provisions of article 10 of law 3377/2005.

Remarks

Important note: the issuance of the particular licence is not required for the regions of Attica and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, regardless of the total area of the store (article 10 of Law 3377/2005).
