This procedure concerns the announcement of operation of reception of ship oil residues by a tank truck. It refers to natural persons and legal entities.

The tank truck shall possess a valid car registration licence. The licence shall state, if and in the way required by the provisions in force, the possibility of transporting oil residues.

There shall be a written contract or agreement between the responsible persons of the reception and the onshore reception facility or floating separator, for the subsequent delivery of the oil residues to these facilities.

The tank truck shall have a valid Tank Truck Technical Control Card and a certificate of suitability control of the tank (ADR ) in accordance with the provisions in force.

The hoses for the reception of oil residues: 1. Shall be suitable for the specific residues and comply with international standards. The suitability is proven by a certificate in accordance with the legislation in force. 2. Shall not be leaking. 3. They are annually checked with a hydraulic test. The testing pressure shall be one and a half times the operating pressure.

The tank truck shall have the required equipment for the protection of the marine environment that has been defined by a decision of the Port Authority.

The customs legislation shall be observed.

After the expiration of of the fifty (50) day deadline, it is presumed that the profession is practiced freely (article 3 of Law 3919/2011 (Government Gazette 32 / AD / 02-3-2011). The applicant may request by the competent administrative authority (competent Port Authority) an attestation according to par. 4 ed. c of article 10 of 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44 / AD / 11-2-2004).
