Description

The procedure concerns the commencement of economic activity by a Legal Entity of Private Law, through a notification to the competent authority, in order to obtain a certificate of legal requirements for the establishment and operation of an Amateur Dance School, the transfer or relocation of the School. It is addressed to legal persons under private law.

Educational and cultural purposes shall be described as purposes of the Legal Person under Private Law.

A representative and a Director of Studies shall be designated.

The prerequisites regarding building installations of amateur dance schools must be met.

The representative of the legal person shall be at least 21 years old.

The representative of the legal person shall not be a civil servant nor have been convicted for any offense constituting an impediment to appointment in a public-sector position.

The representative of the legal person (if he is a man) shall have fulfilled his military obligations or have been legally exempted. He shall not be insubordinate or have been irrevocably convicted for desertion.

The Director of Studies (if he is a man) shall have fulfilled his military obligations or have been legally exempted. He shall not be insubordinate or have been irrevocably convicted for desertion.

The representative of the legal person shall enjoy his/her political rights and not be under any form of guardianship nor have been declared bankrupt.

The Director of Studies shall possess a professor diploma or degree from a recognised vocational dance school in Greece or a recognised college or university-level dance school abroad.

The Director of Studies shall not be a civil servant nor have been convicted for any offense constituting an impediment to appointment in a public-sector position.

The Director of Studies shall possess a 5-year teaching experience in a recognised college (domestic or abroad).

Remarks

Applications shall be submitted exclusively from 1 January to 30 April each year. The certificate of notification is issued within an exclusive period of three (3) months from the expiry of the request and the necessary supporting documents to the department responsible for issuing the final act (the time is binding on the department issuing the final act), in accordance with Article 3 of Law 3919/2011.
