The person concerned must obtain a username and password to be able to submit their application online on the website of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (https://www.buildingcert.gr/).

The activity of energy inspector is carried out by holders of degrees in engineering, members of the Technical Chamber of Greece and holders of technical education degrees or engineers who have gained recognition of professional qualifications in Greece, in implementation of the relevant national and EU law, as applicable, and who have the authority to sign the Energy Efficiency Study, as defined in Article 2(25) of Law 4122/2013 in conjunction with Article 12(2) of the Building Energy Efficiency Regulation (Government Gazette, Series II, No 407/2010) and in accordance with the applicable national legislation on professional rights, as applicable. Energy inspectors certified in countries of the European Union shall be included in the corresponding register of energy inspectors referred to in Article 54, in application of the relevant national and European legislation (Article 52 of Law 4409/2016).

The interested party states that there are no legal or other obstacles or conflicts of interest, that they are not an energy inspector (employee of the energy inspection departments of Southern and Northern Greece), are not an employee in the public sector or in the wider public sector, with a public-law or private-law relationship of indefinite duration, that they accept the right of use, statistical processing and disclosure of data relating to energy inspections which they will carry out, without prejudice to the protection of personal data and commercially sensitive information, and that all the information accompanying their application is true.
