Conditions

The applicant has not been convicted of any criminal offence or any act relating to the exercise of the profession of manicurist/pedicurist.

The applicant must declare on their honour the duration of their professional experience, as proved by their certificates of professional experience.

Applicants who hold a certificate of attendance of at least 600 hours of continuing vocational training at a Lifelong Learning Centre (KDBM) or independent study centre with a completion date up to 12/11/2012 in manicurist/pedicurist services and have proven experience up to 1/12/2022 of 2 years or 600 hours of paid or unpaid work in this profession in a hairdressing salon or barber’s shop, or in a company providing manicurist/pedicurist services, or have teaching experience in the field of manicurist/pedicurist services. The above conditions shall apply until 31/12/2023 for those meeting the criteria until 1/12/2022. or Experts who do not hold a diploma and hold a certificate of certification after having successfully participated in EOPPEP examinations until 01/12/2022 and have at least 3 years of experience or 900 days of paid or unpaid work in a hairdressing salon or barber’s shop, or in a company providing manicure-pedicure services, or have teaching experience in this field, or submit a certificate of previous experience from a local authority in this profession. The above conditions shall apply until 31/12/2023 for those meeting the criteria until 1/12/2022.

The applicant must be a holder of: 1. A vocational education and training diploma, level 3, specialisation of a Vocational Training School (SEK) in ‘Cosmetic podiatry – nail care and onychoplasty’ or 2. A vocational training diploma at post-secondary vocational training level, specialisation of an institute of vocational training (IEK) in ‘Cosmetic podology and nail care’ or 3. A vocational education and training specialisation diploma, level 5, specialisation of an institute of vocational training (IEK), in ‘Cosmetic podiatry – nail care and onychoplasty’ or 4. Equivalent foreign qualifications in the above cases. or 5. The applicant must have attended a continuing vocational training programme of EOPPEP (National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance) of at least 600 hours in a Lifelong Learning Centre (KDBM) or independent study centre with a completion date of 12/11/2012 in the field of manicurist/pedicurist services and have proven experience up to 1/12/2022 of 2 years or 600 days of paid or unpaid work in this profession in a hairdressing salon or barber’s shop, or a company providing manicurist/pedicurist services, or have teaching experience in the field of manicurist/pedicurist services. The applicant must not be suffering from a contagious disease or other disease compatible with their employment.

If the applicant is an expatriate or foreign citizen (of a third country), they must reside legally in the country and have acquired the right to work legally.
