2A copy of a university degree from Greece or abroad recognised as equivalent by the Interdisciplinary Organisation for the Recognition of Academic Qualifications and Information (DOATAP) or a decision of the Council for the Recognition of Professional Qualifications (SAEP) or the Council for the Recognition of Professional Equivalence of Higher Education Qualifications (SEAITTE) and certified as authentic by a public authority. In order to teach foreign languages, where the applicant’s qualifications do not match those of public-school educators, a certificate of competence in foreign language teaching is required.Proof of Study

A solemn declaration under Law 1599/1986, with authenticated signature, in which the interested party declares that: he or she is not a civil servant or an employee of a public entity or local authority, or, if he or she is one of the above, he or she must submit a licence to teach at a tutoring centre or language school or for home tutoring issued by the competent body in accordance with Article 31(1)(2) of Law 3528/2007 and Article 38(2) of Law 3584/2007;
he or she has not been convicted or indicted with a final bill of indictment under Articles 8 and 9 of the Civil Service Code (Law 3528/2007, Series I, No 26)) as amended and in force;
he or she has not been dismissed from a position as a civil servant or private educator or teacher at a tutoring centre or language school for disciplinary reasons or for incompetence in the performance of his or her duties.Solemn Declaration

44. Extract from the applicant’s criminal record for judicial use (ex officio search). In the absence thereof, for residents of other EU Member States, an equivalent document issued by a competent judicial or administrative authority in their country of origin or provenance is required to show that the requirements are met. If the country of origin or provenance does not issue such a document, this may be replaced by a sworn statement or, in the case of countries where there is no sworn statement, by a solemn declaration made by the person concerned before the competent judicial or administrative authority or, where appropriate, before a notary of their country of origin or provenance, who shall issue a certificate attesting the provision of a sworn statement or official declaration.Criminal Record Copy for General Use
