This procedure concerns the announcement of the commencement of operation of an A-B-C class radio electronic workshop (installation, maintenance and repair of radio transmitters/receivers and all kinds of electronic devices). It concerns citizens and legal persons.

Conditions

The radio electrician or radio technician in charge shall have a professional licence commensurate with the required workshop class. Radio technicians in particular shall have successfully practiced the radio technician profession for two years.

He/she shall have the necessary equipment

He/she shall not be subject to deprivation of rights due to an irrevocable conviction for insubordination or disobedience

He/she shall not have submitted supporting documents for an announcement to a different Service of the country.

Tacit approval

If there is no response before the above deadline, then the activity may be practiced freely (tacit approval). The competent authority issues a formal attestation for regarding the legal practice of the activity by the provider /applicant. In cases the submitted documents are not complete, the applicant is informed as soon as possible to submit the pending documents within a new deadline. On these occasions, the twenty (20) days deadline is reset and begins fro m the re-submission of the pending documents. If cases the competent authority does not approve the practice of the activity due to unmet requirements, then the applicant is informed accordingly as soon as possible (par.6 & 7 of art.14 of Law 3844/2010)
