Conditions

The applicant must not be sentenced irrevocably to a felony or to any of the offences of theft, embezzlement, fraud, extortion, forgery, counterfeiting, falsification, serious bodily harm, violation of drug provisions or provisions relating to morals.

The applicant (natural and legal person) must not have been declared bankrupt.

The applicant must hold a special road passenger transport operators licence in accordance with the provisions of P.D. 346/2001.

Fees / Imposts

  • A three hundred euro (300€) fee in code ALE 1450189001 for the Greek State, plus 2% "other stamp duties" in code ALE 1110489001 and 0.4% "additional 20% stamp duty rate" in code ALE 1110403001, payable at any Tax Office. Alternatively, the issuance of the deposit can be completed through the e-paravolo electronic platform using the taxisnet codes of the person concerned, under the deposit code 5718, while the amount of the deposit can be paid either at a cashier of a bank branch or through web banking.

According to Article 4 of Law 7073/2011/1976 (B1266), this justification is submitted to the relevant Ministry of Tourisms Regional Tourism Service every five years. If no reply is received within the 10-day deadline, the application of the interested party is deemed to have been tacitly accepted (tacit approval) and the permit has been issued, in accordance with par. 4 of article 14 of Law 3844/2010 (Government Gazette 63/A/2010). The applicant, in the aforementioned case of implicit approval, may request a relevant certificate from the administrative authority responsible for issuing the act, in accordance with paragraph 4 of Article 10 of Law 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44/A/2004).
