Description

The procedure pertains to the issue and granting of producer vendors licences with counterpart stalls at farmers’ markets. A producer vendor is a producer registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings, pursuant to Law 3874/2010 (Government Gazette No 151/A), who is active in the outdoor trade selling agricultural products exclusively of their own production for sale and who has been granted a business operating licence by the competent authority. Licences for the respective stalls are granted by the regional authorities following a call for applications. They are addressed to persions and legal entities (agricultural and women’s cooperatives, groups and producers’ organisations, as well as Social Cooperative Enterprises (Koin.S.Ep.) established for production purposes.

Conditions

The interested party must declare the commencement of their business activity and use a cash register registered with and connected to the Independent Public Revenue Authority information System (TAXIS).

The interested party must have no outstanding tax debts.

The interested party must have no outstanding social security debt.

The interested party must submit a valid vehicle registration document, as well as a valid technical inspection certificate (KTEO) for the declared vehicle for use (whether privately owned or otherwise).

The interested party will be assigned points based on certain criteria as detailed in Article 16 of Law 4849/2021 (Government Gazette No 207/A).

The interested party must submit a valid health certificate, as indicated under Minister of Health and Social Solidarity Decision No Υ1γ/Γ.Π./οικ. 35797/04.04.2012 (Government Gazette No 1199/A).

Applicants must be registered as professional farmers in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings in accordance with Law 3874/2010 (Government Gazette No 151/A).

You can access the service for issuing an online solemn declaration in the following two (2) ways: a) using your personal web banking codes for one of the available banks or b) using your personal TAXISnet passwords (after logging in once with your web banking codes to confirm your mobile phone number). Any person with a legitimate interest may register an objection to the decision regarding the results of the announcement, before the competent authority, within a deadline of fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the results. The competent authority’s decision on the objection must be issued within ten (10) days of its submission. The decision regarding the objection may be appealed against by any person with a legitimate interest before the competent administrative court of first instance, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 63 to 70 of Law 2717/1999 (Government Gazette No 97/A) as applicable to the Code of Administrative Procedure.
