Description

The procedure concerns the notification of operation and change of details of the initial notification of a School of Vocational Training of Transport Operators. It is addressed to natural or legal persons, public organisations involved in vocational training and federations of owners of buses or lorries of public use.

For legal persons, public organisations and federations of owners of motor vehicles for public use of buses or lorries, their objectives should include vocational training.

Fulfillment of the following requirements for the school site: (a) classrooms and sanitary facilities shall be areas of primary use, (b) to settle in one or more floors of the same building; (c) to have sufficient physical and direct physical lighting, sufficient and direct natural ventilation and heating; (d) to have at least one training room and sanitary spaces, in accordance with the applicable legislation. The minimum area (without masonry) of each training room shall be 15 sqm. The capacity of each teaching room shall be determined by the relation of 1,5 sqm per trained person; (e) to provide access to people with disabilities, in accordance with the applicable legislation; (f) meet the passive fire protection requirements for Schools of Vocational Training for Transport Operators housed in buildings, which fall under the scope of PD 41/2018 (A 80) or PD 71/1988 (A 32), as well as the active fire protection requirements, in accordance with the legislation in force.

The Director of Studies of the School must not have been convicted of the offences of paragraph a of the paragraph. 1 of Article 8 of the Civil Service Code (Law 3528/2007, A 26).

The Director of Studies of the School must be a graduate of a higher education institution or an equivalent foreign school.

During the operation of the School, the operator of the activity is obliged to have collected all the required supporting documents, which are not submitted with the notification but are kept in the premises of the School of Vocational Training for Transport Operators, together with the proof of submission of the notification and any changes thereto.

Fees / Imposts

  • An administrative fee for initial notification and for change of place of business. Until the activation of the e-levy, the fee for the notification of operation is paid to the Public Financial Services (PFS) and the double receipt is submitted together with the notification as proof of payment of the fee. If the study has not been submitted through the information systems, then it must be taken from the physical file held by the Building and/or Fire Service and must bear the stamp of the relevant Service.     A passive fire protection study is required for Schools of Vocational Training for Transport Operators housed in buildings that fall within the scope of PD 41/2018 (A 80) or PD 71/1988 (A 32).     Notification shall be submitted: (a) for the start of operation of Schools of Vocational Training for Transport Operators (initial notification), (b) prior to the intended change of the details of the initial notification of operation (change notice), (c) in the case of termination of the activity in the area where it is carried out (disclosure notice). In the case of a change involving a change of the entity of the activity, the old and the new entity shall each notify the change within 10 working days of the change. The notification shall relate only to the information concerning the operator of the activity. With the exception of Document 3 (legal documents of legal persons), all other documents issued in the name of the old entity remain valid. In cases of termination of operation, change of entity and change of any other detail, except for the change of the place of activity, no fee is required. The relevant supporting documents shall be kept at the premises of the School of Vocational Training for Transport Operators.
