Description
This procedure concerns the authorisation of the establishment and/or operation of a mixed or pure service station for the supply of LNG to vehicles or modification of the licence and is addressed to natural and legal persons.

About
Licence of establishment: in the event that the Licensing Authority has not approved or rejected the request, thirty (30) working days after the application for a licence of establishment, the interested party is deemed to have legally established the service station business (implied approval) and may request a relevant certificate from the Licensing Authority, in accordance with par. 4 of Article 10 of Law 10. 3230/2004 (Α΄ 44).

Remarks
The same procedure shall be used to grant authorisations for the establishment of private LNG and/or L-CNG service stations. The installation of private LNG and/or L-CNG service stations must comply with the terms and conditions relating to safety issues, and the relevant authorisations shall be granted following the submission of the required documentation in accordance with the relevant provisions (Joint Ministerial Decision 188543 (Government Gazette 3368 B 2022), Articles 9 (paragraph 8), 12, 13 and 14). A pure LNG and/or L-CNG service station or a mixed LNG and/or L-CNG and liquid fuels and/or CNG service station for private use is defined as an LNG service station, which the natural or legal person having the right to operate it uses to refuel a specific use and number of wheeled vehicles, as defined in the relevant provisions (Article 9 of Joint Ministerial Decision 188543 (Government Gazette 3368 B 2022)).
