Description

The procedure pertains to the Change of Notification of the Foundation and Operation of Food Service Establishments. The interested party (person or legal entity) notifies – online- the competent authority for (a) any changes in the Entity providing the the activity or (b) any changes in the details already registered in the initial notification for the establishment and commencement of operation of a Food Service Establishment at a specific place or premise.

Note: * In cases there is a change in the basis of the establishment, the activity provider must submit a new notification (par.5 of art.6 of Law 4442/2016) * In cases a notified activity is no longer provided, then the interested party must proceed to a change of notification in order to update the existing one. * In cases of death of the activity provider: the legal heir must change the details of the notification within 4 months of becoming aware of the induction, stating the decision number of the relevant Court of First Instance with which the will was published, as well as the certificate of the same court for non-publication of another will. *In case of a handwritten will, the above court is required to declare it as the "main one". If there is no will, the new provider must declare the inheritance registry number (articles 1956 of the Civil Code). Until the issuance of the inheritance certificate, it is possible to declare a change of notification in the name of the interested party, provided that a declaration (or e-mail) to the relevant municipality of a certificate of close relatives and solemn declarations stating the continuation of the activity by the specific individual. The new provider is responsible for the operation of the store from the day of the declaration change. The new Entity must present the above documents to the competent audit authorities if requested.
