If the interested party is a legal person, the company statute shall state the carrying out of such activities; the company shall be established in Greece or in another member-state of the EU or the EEA.
The applicant shall have a TAXISnet username and password.
The interested person shall submit an Application – Solemn Declaration with subject: “Announcement of Naval Agent Profession”
The interested person shall provide identification data.
The interested party, natural person or legal representative of a legal person, shall be either a Greek citizen or a citizen of the member-states of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), with the exception of Switzerland.
The interested party, natural person or legal representative of a legal person, shall not have been irrevocably convicted of the offences of intentional homicide, espionage, robbery, theft, embezzlement, fraudulent bankruptcy, smuggling, tax evasion, active or passive bribery, forgery, counterfeiting, misappropriation of funds, fraud, extortion, defamation, crime against sexual freedom, human trafficking, violation of the law on drugs and intermediaries, illegal fishing with the use of explosives or chemicals or vegetal materials or devices that produce electrical discharges, violation of mandatory law 192/1936 (A 438) and in any sentence with which even a partial deprivation of civil rights was imposed. He/she shall not be a fugitive or running away from trial and he/she shall have announced the commencement of the business in the competent DOY.
The interested person shall be a graduate of a Greek high school (“Lykeio” or old six-year “Gymnasio”) or hold a degree in customs clearance or a holder of a "SHIPPING" degree in maritime studies or another equivalent recognised domestic or foreign school.
The interested person shall have a sufficient knowledge of the Greek language and his/her certification is to be proved on the basis of Law 4027/2011, as in force.
The interested person shall be insured by the relevant insurance agency (e-EFKA/OAEE).
The interested person shall have at least 2 years of previous service as an employee of naval agencies or other shipping companies, unless he/she is a graduate of a domestic higher education institute or an equivalent foreign School, or holds a degree in Shipping Studies (SHIPPING) or a Merchant Marine Officer diploma, or has five years of customs clearance experience.
The interested person shall possess appropriate complete, either privately owned or leased, building - office facility.
