Description

The procedure concerns the authorisation for taking an examination to obtain the installation foreman for graduates of the School of Engineering of AEN (Merchant Marine Academy) licence, regarding Foreman Installations Engineer of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Specialty. More specifically, the parts of the procedure are: *(a) Authorisation of participation in examinations for the purpose of obtaining a Licence of Foreman of 1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th Specialty Installation Engineer - the final stage is the issuance of a Certificate (Attestation) of Submission of Supporting Documents – and *(b) Issuance of the Licence of Foreman of 1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th Specialty Installation Engineer - the final stage is the issuance of the relevant Licence. The procedure concerns graduates of the School of Engineering of AEN (Merchant Marine Academy) under Law 2638/1998, who meet specific qualifications.

Conditions

The interested party must have 2 years experience in the navy as a merchant navy engineer.

For the authorisation to participate in examinations for a Licence of Installation Engineer Foreman of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or/and 4th Specialty (1st stage): The applicant must have acquired 2 years of previous service in the navy as a merchant navy engineer. In case the applicant has attended one or more special Vocational training programs, the corresponding prerequisite service may be replaced up to 25% by those, after the issuance of an Attestation of Announcement or a valid Licence.

For the authorisation to participate in examinations for a Licence of Installation Engineer Foreman of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or/and 4th Specialty (1st stage): If the applicant has obtained a degree after the issuance of the relevant Licence, he/she must prove it by submitting the relevant degree.

The applicant must be graduate of the School of Engineering of AEN of Law 2638/1998

The applicant shall have a TAXISnet username and password.

82. If the applicant worked as a self-employed: Solemn Declaration of Law 1599/1986 stating: a) the duration of the previous work experience with reference to the specialty and the level of employment of the applicant, b) that he/she was employing by a project or employment contract a supervising Licencee or a person entitled to supervise - with reference to the name and the number of the Certificate of Announcement or Licence of the supervisor, c) that the average annual turnover exceeds 60% of the average annual individual disposable income (MEADE), as calculated by ELSTAT. during the period of acquisition of the experience and d) that he/she possesses the supporting documents described in paragraphs 2.1., 2.2. and 2.3. of article 6 of PD 115/2012.Proof of Previous Service

126. In case of inability to present the above-mentioned supporting documents, as a result of the destruction of records or employment records or from another cause, the following may be accepted as evidence: Booklets of insurance stamps, as well as any other public document, from which the employment of the applicant in a job position with the same or related object is deduced and the interested party must substantiate in his/her application the reasons for which he/she is unable to provide the necessary supporting documents. One or more supporting documents are submitted that cover as a minimum the required total duration of previous professional experience. In case the previous experience was acquired in another EU member state the corresponding supporting documents must be validated for their authenticity by the respective competent authorities of that Member StateProof of Previous Service

Judicial redress

In case of expiration of the above deadline of 15 days, it is considered that the application of the interested party has been implicitly accepted, according to par. 4 of article 14 of Law 3844/2010 (G.G. 63/A/3-5-2010). The interested party in the above case of tacit approval may request the relevant certificate from the Issuing Authority, in accordance with par. 4 of article 10 of Law 3230/2004 (GG 44/A/2004).
