For the licence of the establishment of a Recovery-Rehabilitation Center, building installations are required according to the classification of the Centers of article 15, PD 395/1993 (GG 166/A/1993). The building licence must indicate the use of the building or space for which the licence is requested or in any case the use indicated in the Identity of the building according to article 5 of Law 4067/2012 (GG 79/A/2012).

According to articles 22 “Administration of a Recovery-Rehabilitation Center” and 23 “Scientific Management of a Recovery-Rehabilitation Center“ as well as according to Chapter A regarding the operating specifications per category of Center of MD P4a/4633/1993 (GG 789/T/1993) and, as applicable, according to MD Π3β/Φ.ΘΕΣΜ/Γ.Π.69144/2005 (GG 973/B/2005), Operating Specifications of Inpatient Rehabilitation Recovery Centers (article 10 of Law 2072/1992)

The interested party must legally own or rent premises.

The applicant should state the planned time of establishment of the Recovery-Rehabilitation Center

According to Chapter A regarding the operating specifications per category of Center of MD Π4α οικ.4633 / 1993 (GG 789/Β/1993)

  • Public Fund Receipt of €5,87 per bed for the Rehabilitation Centres (the minimum number of beds is 10). It depends on the category of Center A-A and the number of beds. The minimum number of beds is 10 and an upper limit of 40 beds has been made.

In case no response has been provided before the above deadline, it is considered that the application of the interested party has been implicitly accepted (tacit approval) and the licence has been issued, according to par. 4 of article 14 of Law 3844/2010 (GG 63/A/2010). The applicant, in the aforementioned case of tacit approval, may request a relevant certificate from the administrative authority responsible for issuing the act, in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 10 of 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44/A/2004).
