The approval granted by the relevant Regional Unit to the natural person in order to beginning of the exercise of the professional activities of Law 3982/2011 (143 A ) by graduates or graduates of the university or technological sector or the School of Engineering of AEN (Merchant Marine Academy) and by the citizens of the EU with recognized professional qualifications as Technicians, as Architects and Plumbers foreman, as Combustion Installation Installers, as Welders and Electric Welders, as B and A Grade Master Welders and Electric Welders, as Engineering Installation Technicians, as Engineering Installation Architects, as Engineering Installation Architects, as Project Managers Installation Engineers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Specialty as well as Technicians, Architects and Refrigeration Foreman. It is addressed to citizens.

In order to announce the professional activity of Technician, Chief Technician and Foreman Plumber, the applicant must possess: - an Engineer’s degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934

In order to announce the professional activity of Combustion Installation Technician, Chief Technician and Installer the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology Engineer or Oil and Natural Gas Technology Engineer from the Technological Sector.

In order to announce the professional activity of Technician and Chief Technician of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Specialty, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a degree from the departments of Mechanical Engineering or Energy Technology (Mechanical Engineering) or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology (Electrical Engineering) or Automation or Oil and Natural Gas Technology or Agricultural and Water Resources Engineering or Agricultural Machinery and Irrigations or Mechanical Engineering and Water Resources or Biosystem Engineering or Textile Engineering or Industrial Design or Shipbuilding or Antipollution Technology or Vehicles of the Technological Sector or - a degree from the School of Engineering of the Merchant Marine Academy as per Law 2638/1998.

In order to announce the professional activity of Foreman Installer Engineer of 1st Specialty, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a Degree from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering or Energy Technology (Mechanical Engineering) or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology (Electrical Engineering) or Oil and Natural Gas Technology or Agricultural Engineering and Water Resources or Agricultural Machinery and Irrigations or Mechanical Engineering and Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering or Shipbuilding or Antipollution Technology of the Technological Sector.

In order to announce the professional activity of Foreman Technician of 4th Specialty, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a Degree from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering or Energy Technology (Mechanical Engineering) or Shipbuilding of the Technological Sector.

In order to announce the professional activity of Welder or Arc Welder, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of the Law 6422/1934 or - a Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metal Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Mining Engineering or - a Degree from a Technological Educational Institute (TEI) in the specialty of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology Engineering or Shipbuilding Engineering.

In order to announce the professional activity of Welder or Arc Welder B Class, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metal Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Mining Engineering or - a Degree from a Technological Educational Institute (TEI) in the specialty of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology Engineer or Shipbuilding Engineering.

In order to announce the professional activity of Refrigeration Technician, Chief Technician or Foreman, the applicant must possess: - an Engineers degree that falls under the provisions of article 1 of Law 6422/1934 or - a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology Engineering of the technological sector.

In the event that the person concerned has obtained one of the above qualifications abroad (either in or out of the European Union) the degree must have been recognized as equivalent to a domestic one.

In case the interested party is an EU citizen, and has acquired the professional qualifications in another Member State, either as self-employed or as an employee, he/she must have had his/her professional qualifications recognized.

In the event that the required specialty or direction qualifications do not follow from the above degrees, the applicant must prove the direction he/she followed, through the courses attended during his/her education.

In case the applicant is a qualified engineer, the proof of the qualifications can be substantiated by the respective professional license.

In case of expiration of the deadline of one (1) month, it is considered that the application of the interested party has been tacitly accepted and that the announcement has been approved, according to par. 4 of article 14 of law 3844/2010 (AD 63) . The interested party in the aforementioned case of tacit approval may request the relevant certificate (attestation) from the competent administrative authority responsible for the issuance of the deed, according to par. 4 of article 10 of law 3230/2004 (AD 44).
