Description
This procedure relates to the granting of licences for the bottling of completely denatured ethyl alcohol (lamp alcohol) and is addressed to traders who are required to hold the appropriate special licence issued by the competent customs authority. Such traders include: category A and B alcohol distilleries, petroleum spirits factories and tax warehouses. Bottling by drinks distillers is also permitted, provided that it takes place in facilities other than those of the drinks distillery. The aforementioned interested parties must meet the appropriate requirements.

Insofar as this licence is concerned, tacit approval of an application does not become applicable when the deadline for its processing by the administrative services expires without due action (Article 14(4) of Law 3844/2010 (Government Gazette, Series I, No 63, of 3 May 2010).
