Conditions

Application – Solemn declaration of the applicant (article 8 of Law 1599/1986) (Request description: Announcement of the commencement for practicing the profession of speech therapist).

The interested person must hold a degree in speech therapy specialty of the Higher Technological Educational Institutions (ATEI) of the country or a degree of study abroad recognized by the Interdisciplinary Organization for the Recognition of Academic Degrees and Information (D.O.Α.P.) as equivalent and equivalent to the speech therapy degrees of the country In case the interested party is a citizen of an EU member state. and has acquired his professional qualifications in another Member State - either as a self-employed person or as an employee, his professional qualifications must have been recognized by the competent body of the country.

The person concerned must not have been irrevocably convicted of a felony or any of the misdemeanors of theft, embezzlement, fraud, extortion, forgery, and grievous bodily harm, breach of drug or ethical provisions.

Tacit approval

In case no response has been provided before the above deadline, it is considered that the application of the interested party has been implicitly accepted (tacit approval) and the profession can be practiced (art. 3 of Law 3919/2011). The applicant, in the aforementioned case of tacit approval, may request a relevant certificate from the administrative authority responsible for issuing the act, in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 10 of 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44/A/2004).
