To comply to all the building conditions and obligations according to the current institutional framework: - The total area of the gym / sports school: a) is an area equal to or greater than 100sq.m, not including outdoor and semi-outdoor areas and auxiliary areas (storage, elevator, boiler room, etc.) and b) has the necessary static adequacy. - The total useful space used by the trainees for training or learning a sport is of an area equal to or greater than 70sq.m. - The minimum height of each space is 2.6m. - Minimum area of useful space per trainee is 5sq.m. - The building has at least 2 locker rooms with provision for the security of personal belongings and with a minimum area of 50 sq.m. per trainee - The exercise of the trainees is not carried out in underground spaces which are characterized as auxiliary by the provisions of General Building Regulations (G.B.B.) - The operation of the gym does not produce sound emissions and does not cause nuisance to the locals. - There is a bathroom with at least 2 sprinklers for hot and cold water for each locker room - Existence of hydraulic installation for cleaning and drainage of toilets as well as sanitary basins. Natural or artificial ventilation lining with durable tiles on the entire surface of the walls at least up to a height of 1.70 m. - Durable and non-slip coating on the entire surface of the floors, Doors that open from the outside to the inside. At least one sink per two toilets - Operation of 2 toilets (one for men and one for women) for the trainees for a capacity of up to 80 trainees and operation of an additional lavatory for every additional 40 trainees

The new building of the Gym or the Sports School to have a safe and harmless electrical installation and complete ventilation.

The new building of the Gym / Sports School must have a certificate of active fire protection. If the Gym / Sports School not have one, it is assured that within 30 days from its operation all the necessary actions will be taken in order for the relevant certificate to be issued by the fire service.

The new building of the Gym or Sports School is housed in an open space, which is privately owned / leased by the person concerned.

The Gym / sports school must employ as teachers, trainers, gymnasts and coaches holders of a TEFAA degree, from Greek or equivalent for-eign universitie, or holders of a license to practice a profession from the competent government agency.

For cases where services related to the preparation and monitoring of dietary programs are provided, the recruitment of a graduate dietitian or a specialist nutritionist or a sports expert specializing in sports nutrition is required.

The administrative / support staff of the gym / sports school will be proportional to the extent of the services provided and the number of trainees.

The sole purpose of the gym or sports school is to provide physical exercise and sports or learning and cultivation of a recognized or non-recognized sport (according to the statute).

For the cases that there is a canteen in the gym / sports school, there should be a relevant operating license.

Vitamins and nutritional supplements should not be available for sale inside the gym / sports school area.

Trainees under the age of 18 will require the written consent of the parental caregivers.

With the start of the operation of the Gym / Sports School, the start must been announced at the Local Tax Office..

The Gym operates within the legal operating hours, ie daily and Saturday from 06.00 to 24.00 and Sunday 10.00 -24.00.

For the registration in the gym or the sports school, as well as for the annual renewal of the registration, a special card will be kept, in which a doctor will confirm that the interested person can train in the taught sport. The managers of the gym will show the cards of the trainees during the checks carried out by the Certification and Control Committee according to article 9 of Presidential Decree 219/2006.

In the gym / sports school there is a first aid pharmacy as well as any other necessary aid for the treatment for injuries.
