The term ship or barge or more generally floating craft for the reception of waste denotes any ship or barge or floating craft that has been suitably built or modified to receive ship waste

Solemn Declaration of the master of the ship, barge or generally floating craft that it will be used exclusively for the reception and transport of waste and not for any other transport (such as food supplies etc.)

Written attestation of the competent Authorities (Departmental or Local Government) about the existence and suitability of the land area where waste shall finally be deposited.

Suitability of the vessel for the observance of environment protection legislation.

The applicant may request by the competent administrative authority (competent Port Authority) an attestation according to par. 4 ed. c of article 10 of 3230/2004 (Government Gazette 44 / AD / 11-2-2004).
