The applicant must not be sentenced irrevocably to a felony or to any of the offences of theft, embezzlement, fraud, extortion, forgery, counterfeiting, falsification, serious physical harm, infringement of the provisions on drugs or morals.

The applicant must not have been declared bankrupt.

In case the total number of vehicles leased by the applicant exceeds 10, the applicant must own or lease a parking space for at least 50% of the vehicles, with a minimum area of 6 square meters per leased vehicle. If the total number of vehicles leased by the applicant does not exceed 10, the existence of a parking space is not required.

Private Passenger cars leased with a driver must comply with the requirements of paragraph 3 H.2(3) of the first article of Law 4093/2012, as applicable and in particular: (a) fall within the category of Euro 5 or V or later, (b) have a maximum release time of ten (10) years from the date of their first marketing authorisation, if this is not different from the date of manufacture of those vehicles for more than one (1) year, and for open-ended vehicles (12) years.

Certificate of classification for each leased vehicle.

In case the applicant has for hire old passenger cars of historical interest (antiques), these must: - carry conventional plates of registration number I.A. - be owned by the rental companies. - be dated at least 30 years from the year of manufacture. - not be in a state of immobility.

Documentation of any changes made to the corporate structure shall be carried out.

In the case of Public Limited Companies and Limited Liability Companies: a notarial act is required by the Service of a One-Stop-Service under Law 3853/2010 (i.e. a certified notary). In the case of General Partnerships, Limited Partnerships and Private Capital Companies.: either a certificate of establishment is required by the One-Stop-Service (i.e. a Chamber of Commerce or an authorised KEP) or a notarial act of establishment (by a notarial instrument certified as a One-Stop-Service notary if the parties wish so). In the case of cooperatives under Law 1667/1986: the following are required: the information provided for in article 1 par. 3 of the above law (drawing up of the articles of association and registration of the articles of association in the register of cooperatives of the district court of the district where the cooperative is located).

Fees / Imposts

An administraticve fee of one hundred euros (€100.00) under the code ALE 1450189001 in public interest, plus 2%, ‘other paper fee’ under the code ALE 1110489001 and 0.4% ‘additional 20% in paper fee’ under the code ALE 1110403001, payable to any Tax Office. Alternatively, the cost of the administrative fee can be paid via the online e-paravolo platform, using the unique Taxisnet code of the interested party, with the fee code 0469. After it is issued, the amount of the fee can be paid either to a bank shop fund or via electronic banking services (web-banking).

Application - Solemn Declaration Article 8 of Law 1599/1986, which states: I declare to your service the exercise of the leasing activity of Private Passenger Cars with a driver and I submit to the supporting documents provided for in the legislation in question in order to establish the assistance of the legal conditions for carrying out the activity in question.
