In the case of a legal entity, its objects should include ‘combating of insects and rodents in residential areas’.
Conditions and obligations concerning the owner or legal representative: the owner (natural person) or legal representative of the legal person, should keep records of each application of biocidal products for at least five (5) years
The company should have the appropriate machinery and personal protection equipment for professional use of biocidal products.
Conditions and obligations concerning the scientist in charge: Degree in Agronomy, or Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering or Veterinary Medicine, or Medicine, or Pharmacy, from a Higher Education Institution, or degree from the Department of Plant Production, or the Department of Greenhouse Crops and Floriculture of the School of Agricultural Technology or the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Health and Caring Professions of the Technological Educational Institutes of an EU Member State or an equivalent degree or diploma in similar specialties from schools of non-EU countries.
Conditions and obligations concerning the scientist in charge: Degree in Agronomy, or Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering or Veterinary Medicine, or Medicine, or Pharmacy, from a Higher Education Institution, or degree from the Department of Plant Production, or the Department of Greenhouse Crops and Floriculture of the School of Agricultural Technology or the Department of Public Health of the Faculty of Health and Caring Professions of the Technological Educational Institutes of an EU Member State or an equivalent degree or diploma in similar specialties from schools of non-EU countries.
Conditions and obligations concerning the owner / owner or legal representative: Possession of a Police Identity Card or Passport (for Greek citizens and EU/EEA citizens) or a legal residence permit in Greece (for foreigners from a third country or for cases where the members of the administration include foreign citizens of third countries, outside the EU or EEA)
Conditions and obligations concerning the owner / scientist in charge: holder of a Police Identity Card or passport (for Greek and EU/EEA citizens) or a legal residence permit in Greece (for foreigners from a third country or in cases where management includes members who are foreign citizens of third non-EU or EEA countries).
The scientist in charge should take responsibility for the effective and safe application of the means of combating, including writing a relevant assessment report of the non-chemical methods suitable for combating insects and rodents on a case-by-case basis, but also informing the residents on the protective measures taken case-by-case after the application of biocidal products. The scientist in charge should undertake the obligation to declare to the Directorate of Plant Production Protection of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food if they leave the job in question.
Conditions and obligations concerning the owner / owner or legal representative: in the event that the scientist in charge has an official relationship with the company, evidence of the responsible scientist’s employment should be kept, such as a recruitment announcement form and a certified salary statement showing that the scientist in charge is a full-time employee.

Τhe certificate of notification declaration is valid for 5 years. An additional notification should be submitted by the interested party: 1. 5 years from the end of the initial notification 2. For any modification of the details of the notification, including the addition of a new or replacement of the scientist in charge. In the event of departure of all its scientists in charge, the company must notify its staff of the addition of a new scientist in charge within fifteen (15) business days from the departure of the last scientist in charge. If the period of fifteen (15) business days elapses, the company must make an initial notification again .
